What Is It?

Part
of a national movement, LEAVE A LEGACY™ is a public
awareness program designed to encourage Maine people
to establish wills, update an existing will or estate
plan, and consider a gift from their estate to nonprofit
organizations of their choice.

How
Does It Work?
LEAVE A LEGACY™ is a collaborative effort involving
Maine charities, as well as local legal, accounting,
financial, business and media organizations.

Typically
the month of May is designated as LEAVE A LEGACY™
month.
Your Council has produced a 2006-2007 Leave A Legacy ™
Magazine, and is making copies available for $50 per 100,
plus shipping. Please contact the Council if you are interested
in obtaining a supply to help promote planned giving for
